A blend of 61% Shiraz, 24% Grenache, 8% Viognier and 7% Mourvedre with maturation taking place in seasoned French hogsheads for 15 months. Opaque dark crimson red dark purple colour with deep crimson red hue. The nose is quite exotic with lifted aromas of dark raspberry, plum, liquorice allsorts and spice. Medium bodied the palate is filled with exuberant ripe fruit flavours of dark raspberry, ripe plum and blackberry with a spicy finish. Soft fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of voluptuous dark raspberry, plum and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
