2009 Heartland Cabernet Sauvignon

This exceptional value, multi region Cabernet from the talented Ben Glaetzer was 100% matured in French oak barriques. Opaque black crimson colour with deep dark red hue. Lifted aromas of blackcurrant and spearmint followed by some cedar and spice notes showing very good intensity. The palate displays impressive weight with generous flavours of blackcurrant, spearmint, liquorice and spice with a light cedar undertone. Excellent length with very fine grained tannins followed by a long aftertaste of blackcurrant, mint and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2010-2014).
