2009 Fraser Gallop Estate Cabernet Merlot

Produced from a blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 11% Malbec and 4% Cabernet Franc. Opaque crimson red black colour with deep dark crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of mulberry and dusty cedar are followed by some bay leaf and spice notes. Medium bodied the palate displays flavours of ripe mulberry followed by some blackcurrant, dusty cedar and spice with some herbal tobacco leaf overtones. Fine grained, soft, well balanced tannin structure with medium to long aftertaste of mulberry, dusty cedar and spice.
