2009 Flynns Wines Lewis Road Heathcote Shiraz

This Heathcote Shiraz includes a 5% Viognier component and was matured for 12 months in a combination of French and American oak barriques. Opaque black dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose displays good perfumed lift with aromas of ripe dark blackberry, dark chocolate, liquorice and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate is quite fleshy with generous flavours of ripe blackberry, dark chocolate, dark plum and spice. Super fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark chocolate, ripe blackberry and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
