2009 Coldstream Hills Deer Farm Vineyard Chardonnay

Matured in a combination of 53% new and 47% used French oak. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinge and watery hue. The nose displays refined scents of biscuit, delicate white peach and cashew with a light spicy oak overlay. Light to medium weight the palate displays subtle flavours of nectarine, white peach and spice followed by some cashew. Clean dry finish with aftertaste of melon, cashew and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
