2009 Casella Limited Release Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque inky black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. The nose displays pronounced ripe blackcurrant and stewed plum top notes followed by light tobacco, a touch of dark chocolate and spicy cedar. Rich ripe blackcurrant flavours fill the palate with underlying nuances of stewed plum, cedar, light tobacco and spice. Dry, slightly chewy finish with solid but very fine grained tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, stewed plum, cedary tobacco and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
