2009 By Farr Chardonnay

A very nutty, developed style of Chardonnay.
Bright deep straw colour with pale straw hue. On the nose aromas of dried honey, almonds, cashew, honeycomb and spicy oak. Full bodied the palate appears to be quite developed and is starting to show signs of drying out. Flavours of roasted almonds, dried honey, spicy oak and a touch of hazelnut on the back palate. Good mouthfeel but very dry on the finish. Aftertaste of dried honey, roasted almonds, hazelnut and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years (2012-2014).
