The palate is quite dry displaying some herbaceous unripe gooseberry characters, citrus and mineral. Clean crisp dry finish with long tangy aftertaste of grassy gooseberry, citrus and mineral.

Other Reviews…
Owned by the Bailey family, able to pick the eyes out of 22 ha of estate vineyards dating back to 1995. Cold fermentation and bottling within 12 weeks of picking produces an arresting bouquet of passionfruit and - unusually but obviously - pear, the palate incisive and long, drawn out by citrussy acidity.
Drink to 2012 with poached scallops.
