2008 Windflower Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with brick red hue. The nose shows good perfumed lift with aromas of dark plum, anise and ripe dark cherry followed by a hint of spice. The palate possesses a very soft velvety texture but is rather simple and lacks depth. Flavours of dark cherry, ripe plum, anise and spice. Super fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark cherry, ripe plum and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years (2012-2014).
