2008 Vavasour Redwood Pass Pinot Noir

Translucent, mauve crimson colour with mauve hue. Lifted nose of ripe strawberry and spice followed by black cherry and violets, showing strong varietal character. Light cinnamon end notes. The palate displays flavours of truffle, spice, cherry and earth. The back palate is quite spicy. Moderate powerwave. Fine soft tannins. Aftertaste of cherry, earth and truffle.
