2008 Tyrrell's Vat 1 Hunter Semillon

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a greenish tinge around the rim and watery hue. The nose reveals lemon and lime top notes followed by some light toastiness, a hint of dried honey and spice. Still very fresh and vibrant the palate features flavours of lemon butter and lime alongside some toasty characters, light honeyed beeswax and spice. Clean dry finish with crunchy acidity. Long aftertaste of lemon butter, toast, bees wax and spice.
Cellar 6-8 years.

Straw with more than a tinge of green. In a very good place. Sweet lime and distinctive twiggy herb flavours lead into lemon and toast-like notes. Fizzes with complex flavour through the finish. Shines in the glass.
