2008 Torbreck The Bothie Muscat a Petits Grains (375ml)

A delightful sweet wine, that is made in the style of Muscat Beaunes de Venise.
The grape varieties used are white and brown Frontignac.
Bright pale straw colour with water like hue. Fresh lifted nose with top note of lychee, tropical fruit and compot with a hint of ripe sultana. The palate is quite luscious in weight with some fine brandy spirit evident. Flavours of ripe sultana and raisin with a hint of lychee and honey. Clean acid finish. Aftertaste of raisin, honey and compot.
