2008 Tiger's Tale Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

This red is made up of a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot and 1% Shiraz and was matured for 12 months in a combination of French (80%) and American oak (20%).

Opaque dark red purple colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose opens with aromas of tobacco leaf followed by some mulberry and cedar notes. The palate displays flavours of blackcurrant, tobacco and mulberry followed by some cedar and spice on the back palate. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of mulberry, tobacco and cedar.
