2008 Thelema Chardonnay

This wine spent 10 months maturing in French oak of which 30% was new. Bright straw colour with pale gold greenish tinge around the edges and water like hue. Aromas of melon, spice, fig and toasty lees. Fruity palate flavours of ripe pear, peach and a hint of toast followed by a very spicy back palate. Good mouthfeel. Clean dry finish with aftertaste of spicy pear, melon and toast.
