2008 The Lane Vineyard Block 14 Basket Press Shiraz

Opaque black crimson colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose exhibits scents of very ripe dark plum and dark cherry as top notes followed by some liquorice, toast and spice. Medium weight the palate displays flavours of ripe dark plum, liquorice, clove and spice but possessing only moderate power and length. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark plum, clove and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
