- Cellar 1 - 2 years (2010-2011)
- ABV 13%
- Closure: Screw Cap
While the majority of this wine was fermented in stainless steel, 2% was fermented in a mix of new and older French oak barriques in order to add complexity. The 2008 vintage has delivered all of the classic, zesty fruit flavours that are the hallmark of the Marlborough region's Sauvignon Blancs.
Bright pale straw colour with water like hue. Aroma of ripe gooseberry and ripe passionfruit, showing distinctive varietal character. The palate delivers flavours of ripe gooseberry, tropical fruit and passionfruit, followed by ripe pineapple. There is a hint of residual sweetness. Clean acid finish. Very long aftertaste of gooseberry, tropical fruit and pineapple.
Cellar 1-2 years (2010-2011)
