2008 Teusner The Riebke Northern Barossa Shiraz

Opaque black crimson red colour with black crimson red hue. Aromas of dark plum, mocha and ripe blackberry with a hint of vanilla and confectionary also emerging. Like most of the other 2008 Barossa reds we’ve seen, the warmer than normal vintage conditions have resulted in a big ripe joosy Shiraz. Flavours of dark plum, ripe blackberry and dark chocolate with some cedar background notes. Fine grained velvet like tannins. Aftertaste of dark plum, dark chocolate and ripe blackberry.
