2008 Schild Estate 2nd Blend Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of black plum, liquorice, ripe blackberry and confectionary. Full bodied the palate delivers very generous flavours of aniseed, liquorice, dark plum, confectionary and spice. Very fine grained well integrated tannins. Good depth with medium to long aftertaste of liquorice, vanillin toast and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
