2008 Pewsey Vale The Contours Riesling

Sourced from a single vineyard at Pewsey Vale the Contours is aged for 5 years in bottle before being released. Brilliant pale straw colour with watery hue. The nose is very expressive with an intense aromatic sniff of lemon and lime overlaid with some toasty characters and a whiff of kerosene and spice. Mouthfilling palate flavours of lemon and lime intermixed with some toasty kerosene like characters. Excellent concentration with the palate beginning to take on an oily mouthfeel. Clean dry finish with good acid structure. Long lemon, lime, toasty kerosene and spice aftertaste. Winner of 9 gold medals to date.
Drink now or cellar a further 4-5 years.
