2008 Peel Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep near opaque dark red black tinged colour with a very dark red hue. The nose displays a Bordeaux like sniff of ripe blackcurrant and cedary cigar box over some black olive, earth and spice. Firmly structured the palate opens with ripe blackcurrant flavours followed by black olive, cedary cigar box, earth and spice. Dryish, slightly chalky tannins impart a sense of firmness and rigidness on the finish. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, black olive, cedary cigar box and spicy earth.
Cellar 5-6 years.
