2008 Nautilus Pinot Noir

Nautilus have invested heavily over the last ten years striving to produce world class Pinot Noir from the Marlborough region and the results from the last two vintages would indicate that their efforts are beginning to pay dividends.

Excellent depth of colour – deep crimson mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. Perfumed nose displaying aromas of violets, dark cherries and anise followed by some spice and Troncais oak end notes. Medium weight with generous flavours of plum, anise and dark cherries with a spicy back palate and underlying Troncais oak displaying an excellent power wave. Velvet smooth tannins and very long aftertaste of spice, anise and dark cherry.
