2008 Mitchell Sevenhill Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of blackcurrant and mulberry intermixed with some liquorice followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied and possessing excellent richness within an elegantly structured mouthfeel the palate features flavours of blackcurrant, liquorice and subtle spearmint overlaying vanillin cedar and spice. Slightly dryish, yet fine grained tannins have plenty of structural appeal and good grip. Aftertaste of spicy blackcurrant, spearmint and vanillin cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
