2008 McWilliams Balance Shiraz

Another low alcohol red that sacrifices flavour for the sake of calories. Opaque dark crimson red colour with dark crimson hue. Aromas of dark plum, blackberry and dark cherry followed by a hint of toast. The palate disappoints lacking mouthfeel, concentration and depth. Light palate flavours of toast and cherry with a dry finish. Fine grained slightly chalky tannins with short aftertaste of toast and cherry. Quite frankly, we’d rather sweat it out at the gym and drink something more flavoursome. Pass.
