2008 Little Black Stone Pinot Noir

Winemaker Ant Moore has produced this entry level Pinot Noir from a blend of fruit sourced from Marlborough (55%) and Central Otago (45%).

Semi translucent crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays aromas of anise, dark cherries and toasted oak showing good intensity. Light to medium weight displaying a creamy texture and soft acidity with flavours of dark cherries, anise, toasty oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with aftertaste of spice, dark cherry and toast.
Drink now or cellar 1-2 years (2009-2011)
