2008 Koonara Bay of Apostles Pinot Noir

Translucent crimson, brick red colour with crimson hue. Top note of strawberry followed by spice and dark cherry with a hint of earth and truffle. The palate has good underlying fruit flavours but is overlaid with flavours of earth, leather, strawberry and toasted oak. Soft tannin structure. Moderate power wave. Aftertaste of earth, spice, new leather, strawberry and cedar.
