A very well made, generous quaffing Shiraz.

Kitt's Creek along with the surrounding hills define the northern limit of the Barossa Valley. Made at the Teusner winery the fruit was sourced mainly from vineyards owned by the Kalleske family. Displaying an opaque black dark crimson colour with deep dark red hue, the wine was matured for 21 months in older oak hogsheads. The nose offers aromas of dark ripe plum, mocha and confectionary. Full bodied with generous joosy flavours of dark plum, blackberry and liquorice with some mocha confectionary like characters on the back palate. Very soft tannins give the wine a fleshy supple mouthfeel. Good length with aftertaste of dark plum, mocha and confectionary.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014)
