Reflective of the vintage, this is a big,
ripe 'joosy' Pirathon.
Opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. The nose displays good intensity with aromas of
dark plum, blackberry, dark cherry and confectionary. Concentrated joosy palate flavours of
blackberry, liquorice allsorts, confectionary and dark cherry, with some spice and toast on the back
palate. Very persistent peppery finish. Fine grained velvety tannin structure with long aftertaste
liquorice allsorts, confectionary, blackpepper and toast.Drink now or cellar 3-4 years (2009-2013)
