Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. The nose displays impressive varietal character with aromas of spice, ripe strawberry and cherry. The palate has good weight with a touch of anise followed by plum, spice and dark cherry. Moderate power wave. Slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of anise, dark cherry and spice.
