Henry’s Seven is a tribute to Henry Evans who planted the frst vineyard of seven acres at Keyneton in 1853. A blend of 75% Shiraz, 15% Grenache, 8% Viognier and 2% Mourvèdre, the Viognier component was co-fermented with Shiraz whilst the Grenache and Mourvèdre were fermented separately. Maturation took place in seasoned French hogsheads for 15 months.

Opaque dark crimson red mauve colour with deep mauve hue. Perfumed aromas of dark plum, liquorice, blackberry and spice followed by an exotic apricot end note. Mouthflling voluptuous palate favours of blackberry, liquorice, spice and blackpepper followed by a hint of complexing dried apricot. Velvet smooth tannin structure with long aftertaste of blackberry, liquorice and blackpepper.
