2008 Forest Hill Vineyard Shiraz

Matured for 18 months in French oak. Opaque black crimson red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of inky blackberry and plum followed by some liquorice and toast end notes. Medium to full bodied the palate displays generous flavours of blackberry, plum and spice with some liquorice on the back palate and a light toast overlay. Very fine grained perfectly balanced tannins with aftertaste of liquorice, blackberry and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years (2013-2014).
