2008 Elderton Friends Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep crimson red colour with mauve hue. The nose displays aromas at the riper end of the spectrum - liquorice, ripe plum and confectionary - good intensity. Full bodied with good weight and texture. Flavours of ripe blackcurrant, plum, confectionary and spice followed by a touch of cedar on the back palate. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, plum and cedar. An excellent quaffing Cabernet with a joosy flavour profile.
Drink now or cellar 1-2 years (2009-2011)
