2008 Domaine Ballot Millot Meursault Genevrieres

Deep straw colour with golden edges and a very pale straw hue. Pronounced aromas of honeycomb, ripe peaches and light butterscotch are followed by some oily toast like characters and hazelnut. Rich with an oily like texture the palate has a full bodied flavour profile of dried honey, hazelnut and toast followed by some almonds and spice. Clean dry finish with sufficient acidity but not the carry through expected. Aftertaste of dried honey, hazelnut, toast, almonds and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
