2008 d'Arenberg The Sticks & Stones Tempranillo Shiraz Tinta Cao Souzao

Opaque deep dark red black colour with dark red hue. Aromas of ripe black cherries are intermixed with earth, some liquorice, leather and spice. Medium to full bodied with good richness the palate possesses flavours of ripe black cherries and liquorice followed by some earth, subtle leather and a spicy back palate. Slightly chewy on the finish with solid, dryish, but well integrated tannins. Good length with long black cherry, liquorice, earthy leather and spice aftertaste.
