2008 Clayfield Massif Shiraz

Opaque black dark crimson colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose displays super ripe notes of dark plum and black cherry followed by dark chocolate and some raisin end notes. Full bodied displaying a very ripe generous flavour profile of black plum, dark chocolate and black cherry with a spicy blackpepper back palate. Fine grained soft tannin structure with aftertaste of dark chocolate, black ripe plum and spice. A big ripe dark joosy Grampians Shiraz at the very ripe end of the spectrum for the district.
Cellar 1-2 years (2011-2012).
