This is our fourth shipment of the dry white of the First Growth Sauternes house, Chateau Guiraud. Made from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc & Semillon, this wine offers a terrific alternative to those whose palates are jaded by New Zealand 'Sauvys'.

Bright pale straw colour with green tinge and water like hue. Classic Graves style. Aroma of confectionary, followed by delicate gooseberry, spice and tropical fruit. The palate will continue to blossom over the next couple of years. Flavours of confectionary over a delicate herbaceous gooseberry layer. Dry. Nuances of citrus and exotic ripe fruits on the back palate. Clean acid finish. Very long aftertaste of confectionary, spice and gooseberry
Cellar 3-4 years (2012-2013)
Alc/Vol: 13.0%
