2008 Banfi Colle Pino Merlot Sangiovese

Deep dark crimson red colour with dark red hue. Aromas of dark cherry, plum and spice with a leather earth overlay. Medium weight the palate displays flavours of dark cherry, plum and spice followed by some leathery back palate characters. Dry finish with soft tannins and aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and earthy leather. A soft earthy red.
Drink over the next 2 years (2011- 2013)
