2008 Balgownie Estate Black Label Cabernet Merlot

This wine has been made from a blend of 51% Bendigo Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Yarra Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Great Western Merlot.
Opaque dark crimson red black colour with deep dark crimson hue. The nose is restrained with aromas of blackcurrant, mulberry and spice with a touch of cedar also emerging. The palate delivers generous flavours of ripe blackcurrant, mulberry and dark plum followed by some spicy back palate flavours. Dry, slightly firmish tannins with aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, mulberry and spice.
Cellar 2-3 years (2012-2013).
