The Next of Kin is Xanadu’s entry level range of wines replacing the Dragon series. Crimson red colour with crimson red mauve hue. Relatively subdued aromas of macerated cherry, plum, spice and confectionary. Medium weight with modest concentration and simple flavour profile. Flavours of cherry, mulberry and confectionary with some cedar background notes. Dry but soft tannin structure with aftertaste of cherry, cedar and spice. A soft, quaffing Cabernet from Margaret River.
