This wine has collected a swag of awards on the Australian Show circuit including a trophy and gold medal at the 2009 Perth Royal Wine Show and most recently at the 2010 Sydney Royal Wine Show, where it was awarded the trophy for best Cabernet Sauvignon. On top of this it has also received critical acclaim from leading Australian wine critics.

A testament to the outstanding 2007 vintage in Margaret River.

Matured inFrench oak for 18 months. Deep purple crimson colour with purple mauve hue. Perfumed aromas of violets, blackcurrant, cassis and cedar with a complexing hint of tobacco in the background. Medium to full bodied the palate displays plenty of richness with flavours of ripe blackcurrant, cedar, violet infusions, spice and some cigar box characters, all encased in a fine grained dry tannin structure. Long aftertaste of cassis, cedar and spice. A slightly firmer style than the previous two or three vintages.
Cellar 4-5 years to allow the tannins to integrate (2013-2014)
14.5% Alc
