Produced from vines between 40 – 150 years old, this wine was elevaged entirely in stainless steel. The complete absence of barrel maturation has resulted in a wine with distinct primary fruit flavours. Bright crimson mauve colour with crimson mauve hue. Medium body. Superb lifted nose delivering aroma of spice, raspberry and confectionary, showing strong varietal blend with the Grenache being dominant. 'Joosy' palate flavours of blackberry, liquorice, raspberry concentrate and confectionary. The palate delivers flavours of spice over a black pepper back palate. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of black cherry with a hint of coffee bean.
