2007 The Whisky Agency Single Cask Ledaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

A limited edition Ledaig (produced at Tobermory), selected by independent bottlers, "The Whisky Agency".

Tasting note: [tasted from a 20ml sample]. Matured in a refill hogshead. Almost water like with the palest straw tinge. Fabulous lift to the bouquet which is smokey-yet-fruity, even mezcal-like, with notes of wool shed, liquorice root, rubber tyre, cocoa and dill pickle. A generous, creamy Ledaig: Dark chocolate flavours are infused with sweet, sooty, earthy peat. Young bottlings are rarely this good. Worth seeking out. Non chill filtered. 52.3% Alc./Vol.
