2007 The Black Chook Shiraz Viognier

The blend is composed of 95% Shiraz and 5% Viognier. Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Top note of dried apricot followed by spice, blackberry and liquorice. Generous mouthfilling palate with dried apricot, liquorice and plum flavours followed by a black pepper back palate. Very long aftertaste of apricot, blackberry and liquorice with spiciness persisting.
