2007 Ross Tempranillo

A dry red – too dry to be enjoyed without food. Medium body crimson brick red colour and hue. Lifted nose of new leather and spice followed by a hint of cherry and mulberry – showing good varietal lift. The palate is short and too dry, dominated by fine but very dry chalky tannins. Some would call this savoury but it’s a term we like to avoid as it seems a cop out for ‘dry hard tannins’.
