2007 Rahona Valley Red Hill Pinot Noir

Semi translucent crimson mauve colour with mauve hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of black cherry, spice and cedar with a hint of anise also present. Flavours of dark cherry, spice and anise with the spicy characters persisting on the finish. Good power wave, although the acidity is a touch high at present. Fine grained tannins with spicy dark cherry and cedar aftertaste. The palate is still quite youthful and will benefit with a few more years in the bottle.
Cellar 3-4 years (2013-2014).
