The Possums wines get their name not from the little cuddly marsupial as one would suppose but rather from the names of the co-owners of the vineyard, John Possingham and Carol Summers.
Bright straw colour with straw hue. The nose displays good intensity, with dried apricot top note followed by tropical fruit, spice and lychee, delivering an exotic sniff. The palate flavours are quite broad with dried apricot and tropical fruit flavours evident. The acidity is soft. Aftertaste of dried apricot and spice. An example of a fuller style of Viognier.
