Formerly known as 'Tocai Friulano', Friulano is a native variety of Friuli. Lizio Plozner pioneered viticulture in the region in the 1960's with a vineyard situated in the foothills of Grave del Friuli, not far from the Alps.

This wine is in the classic Friulano aperitif style. Bright straw colour with pale straw hue. Graves like nose with aroma of confectionary, followed by light herbal notes, green grass and dry hay. Generous palate weight. Clean acid finish. Very long aftertaste with spice dominating followed by dry hay and confectionary.
