2007 Pertaringa Under Cover Shiraz

Opaque black purple colour with purple mauve hue. Aromas of ripe blackberry, liquorice, vanilla and confectionary – somewhat restrained. Full bodied, rich palate with flavours of ripe blood plum and blackberry followed by some confectionary, liquorice allsorts, spice and blackpepper on the back palate. Fine grained dryish tannins. Long persistent aftertaste of blackberry, plum and spice.

Bright colour; a dark and dense, almost mysterious array of aromas...the palate is lively and has a vibrant essency core of fruit, handling the quite firm structure with ease; long, savoury and well put together.
