The Medici Ridge range of wines are a 'sub label' distinct from Paul Conti's premium releases, the point of difference being that fruit is sourced from growers based in the cooler climate of Pemberton’s Warren Valley (approx. 3.5 hours south of Perth). This wine was fermented in traditional open fermenters with 10% whole bunch fermentation before careful oak maturation in new and seasoned French oak barrels for nine months.

Semi translucent crimson colour with crimson hue. The nose is a very pleasant surprise displaying pronounced varietal character with dark cherry, spice and anise notes. The palate shows generous mouthfeel with an impressive power wave and strong flavours of dark cherry, spice and anise. Very fine tannins – perfect balance. Long aftertaste.
A great value varietal.
