2007 Mountadam Vineyards Patriarch Shiraz

Near opaque dark red colour with dark red mauve hue. Aromas of stewed plum, blackberry, confectionary and liquorice. The palate displays good weight with flavours of very ripe blackberry and plum followed by some spicy toasty oak on the back palate. Fine grained soft tannins with aftertaste of liquorice, stewed plum and toasty oak.
Cellar 2-3 years (2012-2013).
