Medium body – deep crimson mauve purple colour with mauve purple hue. Lifted Grenache nose, with top note of raspberry and spice. The palate is a touch tight, and the fruit needs time to evolve – being a touch subdued. Layers of raspberry, cherry and spice supported by fine chalky tannins which persist into the aftertaste.
